10ZiG may also purchase your data through third-party GDPR Compliant companies. Please see our Legitimate Interest Assessment below.

Legitimate Interests Assessment

10ZiG Technology Ltd has carried out a Legitimate Interests Assessment which is documented as follows.

Purpose of Processing (Purpose Test)

10ZiG Technology Ltd has a legitimate interest to process personal data relating to IT Professionals working in IT Departments across EMEA. The subject data is either collated from incoming sources such as our website forms on www.10ZiG.com, incoming forms and survey entries promoted at physical events or virtually though online events, campaigns, and social media.

In some cases, we may purchase subject data from reputable GDPR compliant research-led data companies such as Cognism and are gathered from publicly available sources and directly from the companies concerned. If you would like to know more about this then please contact privacy@10zig.com.

Lawful Business Objective

The processing of data is necessary to contact data subjects for business-to-business marketing purposes; a lawful business objective specifically identified by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR). Recital 47 of the GDPR identifies direct marketing as a legitimate use of personal information.

Reasonable Expectation (Balancing Test)

The data subjects are senior IT Professionals who can reasonably expect to be contacted with marketing material relating to their professional role or based on information they have provided to 10ZiG through sources such as our website forms on www.10ZiG.com, incoming forms and survey entries promoted at physical events or virtually though online events, campaigns, and social media.

Adequate, Relevant & Limited

The data collected is limited to names of IT Professionals, their job titles, company addresses, company landline telephone numbers, corporate email addresses, publicly available social media profiles and technologies that their business uses. In the case of incoming data provided directly by the data subjects to 10ZiG, they may also include limited details about the products they are looking for and their infrastructure, however this is not personal or identifying data and is used to further increase the relevance of our Marketing Communication to them. If a person leaves their role, their name and contact details are deleted from the marketing database.

Opt Out

If a data subject requests that their data is removed from the database, it is suppressed so that it cannot be accessed or added again later. You have the ability to opt-out in all of our communication but if you wish to amend your marketing preferences by email you can do so by emailing us at privacy@10zig.com
